Hiring Experienced Sous Chef/Kitchen Manager - Conifer

Established Culinary Team of Brooks Place Tavern seeks full time sous chef.

Seeking an experienced sous chef with a proven track record of effective leadership; ability to successfully assist the executive chef in the operation of a high volume kitchen, quality control, inventory controls, staff training & development, staff scheduling & kitchen sanitation. Experience to include the ability to keep food and labor costs in line. Capacity to work effectively and successfully with executive chef and general manager to ensure consistent food quality and presentation and ensure guest satisfaction.

Our ideal candidate:

At least one year of kitchen management/supervision
Hands on management style; working on the line and guiding, supporting line and prep cooks to assist in increasing their skill levels
Focuses on labor costs and is able to make adjustments in the schedule to accommodate for fluctuating volume
Ability to communicate effectively with entire Brooks Place Team in a manner which promotes positive working relationships
Knowledge of all kitchen operations
Experience with creating entrees, soups and sauces
Experience in butchering meats and seafood

Brooks Place is a family owned tavern in Conifer, established in 2010. We are a high volume full service restaurant open seven days a week for lunch, happy hour and dinner; serving breakfast on Saturday & Sunday.
