Position: Groundsman (Tree Care)
Starting Date: Immediately. Applications accepted until position filled.
Location: Evergreen, CO
Job Duties: Groundsman performs: fueling of chainsaws and blowers, weed-eating, shrub and ladder fuel removal, shrub pruning, operating pole chainsaws, brush dragging, chipping, basic rigging of ropes, slings, pulleys, and ‘mechanical advantages’ for lowering, winching and pulling over large trees.
Qualifications: High School Diploma or GED required, clean driving record, reliable transportation, self-motivated, ability to get to work on time each day, good written and verbal communication skills, good listener who can take direction well, a level headed individual who can work with all other staff members and clients.
Desired Qualifications: Basic knowledge of chainsaw and brush chipper maintenance and operation, basic background in landscape and/or tree care operations, and basic pruning techniques.
Additional Information:
Seasonal, hourly position available. Starting pay $15.00
