Sano Animal Hospital Now Hiring Two Certified Veterinary Technicians

Sano Hospital for Animals has expanded and is now open seven days per week. This means we are hiring.

Sano is looking for two Certified Veterinary Technicians to join a fantastic long-term team. The job will follow an eight week scheduling cycle that will include six blocks of three consecutive days off (equal amount of three day weekends and three days off during the week) and working three weekends every eight weeks. 35-year AAHA Accredited canine and feline practice seeks experienced and confident CVTs seeking a modern work environment that values their experience and skills.

Sano heavily leverages our technicians to:

• Manage appointments utilizing high-density scheduling with in-room checkouts.
• Acquire patient history, client education, and discharge hospitalized and/or surgical patients.
• Write records and examination report cards while doctor examines the patient with a separate assistant restraining.
• Encourages technicians to utilize their skills: hospitalized patient care, multi-tasking, time management and emergency medicine (lots of emergencies). Our tech assistants hand most of the cleaning, pack prep and animal restraint.
• Have open discussion about the practice and patient care.

An ideal technician would be efficient, confident, and capable of working at a rapid pace. Our practice experiences minimal down time. Due to this, our 10 hour shift goes very quickly!!! Yet we make sure everyone still gets their am and pm breaks and one hour lunch.
