Retail’s busiest season is about to be underway. Businesses at Colorado Mills Mall can breathe a sigh of relief as Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center supports more than 20 retailers to hire employees. These businesses were closed as a result of the May 8th hailstorm and they need to be fully staffed when Colorado Mills Mall reopens in November.
Full-time, part-time and seasonal positions are available. Several retailers at this event intend to hire for other locations in the Denver Metro Area as well.
On June 7th, Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center collaborated with the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment and the Denver Marriott West in a hiring event for displaced workers. Next Tuesday’s event is a continuation of that effort by the Jefferson County Business & Workforce Center, and is designed to connect businesses with job seekers. Job seekers can meet with representatives from numerous companies to learn about and apply for positions.
Most employers offer training, flexible schedules and employee discounts. Many of the full-time positions include benefits, competitive wages and managerial advancement opportunities may exist.
