Event coordinating and supervision of events
• Meeting with potential clients and pre-event walk-thru’s
• Supervising events
• Handling contracts and agreements with existing clients
• Office/desk work and record keeping
• Emailing, mailing and phone calls with existing clients and answering inquiries
General office phone answering and correspondence
Routine cleaning and deep cleaning (sweeping and mopping floors, bathrooms)
Laundry of linens as needed
Setup and teardown of events (involves moving tables and chair)
Good computer skills required – Outlook, Word, Excel.
Good verbal and written communication skills required
Able to do heavy lifting/moving up to 50#
Thorough cleaning skills
Able to enforce policies
Eye for detail
Media equipment knowledge and usage a plus
Able to manage stairs
Able to stand for long periods of time
30-40 hrs/week (Seasonal April - October full-time, non-seasonal part-time).
Schedule varies, 2-3 days weekdays (typically 8:30am-4:30pm weekdays, may vary or be in the evening, and at least on weekend day/evening).
Late evenings required. (Some Friday, Saturday and Sunday’s may be a 10 hr shift.)
Flexibility in schedule needed.
