Park County School District Re 2 is located in the beautiful rocky mountains, located in the old mining town of Fairplay, CO at an elevation 10,000 feet. Elk, deer, antelope, moose are abundant , hiking, camping, fishing, and skiing are only a few of the activities in our area. Breckenridge Ski area is 23 miles from Fairplay. Our campus is home to Edith Teter Preschool, Edith Teter Elementary, South Park Middle and High School. Home of the Burros! Students attend our school from the surround towns of Alma, Jefferson, Como, Hartsel, Guffey, Lake George and of course Fairplay. Our students and staff enjoy a 4 day school week, Monday -Thursday, 7:30-4:30 pm.
