Elk Creek Sand & Gravel Hiring Heavy Equipment/Crushing Plant Operator

HEAVY MACHINERY/ PLANT OPERATOR: Sign on bonus. Pay commensurate with experience. This position involves operating a portable crushing plant at various locations crushing a range of materials from recycled asphalt to concrete, virgin pit run and shot rock. The operator is responsible for ensuring that they maintain a safe, clean working environment, ensuring belts and rollers run smooth, that equipment is run properly and orderly adn to provide safe loading and stockpiling of customer product. We are looking for responsible, methodical employees who take pride in their work, are on time and enjoy the challenges of producing and delivering the aggregates we all use every day. A sense of humor, a respectful, cheerful attitude, some mechanical expertise and the ability to work well as part of a team including strong communication skills, attention to detail and a safe, reliable work ethic are fundamental to the successful candidate.

1 inside sales/ account rep
1 admin assistant/ data entry clerk and receptionist

2 scale operator (1 can be PT)

1 PM/ estimator with experience in heavy civil/ highway multijurisdictional w/ 'understanding DOT specs (state and federal) and all compliance requirements pref including some mining experience

1 marketing/ SALES IT Admin (can be P/T consultant basis. Has excellent opportunity to move this position into a full-time role)

1 IT/ Social Media Marketing Mgr (can be on consultant basis. Has excellent opportunity to move this position into a full-time role)

1 HEAVY EQUIPT Diesel mechanic with experience in crushing machinery (preferably, welding, heavy iron, track replacement, engine and powerplant replacement - preference for those with own mobile equipment truck c/w crane, off-road capability, welders, air compressor etc (be awesome if you can handle big tires also)

1 safety compliance manager (P/T admin consultant on call basis; must be familiar with intra-state and multijurisdictional, OSHA and Federal MSHA. Has opportunity to go to full-time)

1 LOCAL TRUCK DRIVER - small (8 ton) single axle DELIVERY DRIVER (CDL required) Mountain delivery and experience along 285 corridor is a must. Helpful if you are cross-certified on skidsteers and/ or smaller excavation equipment
