Forest Management Program Administrator
Pay Range: $106,000 to $133,000
Location: Colorado Springs, CO

Our water is collected from snowmelt coming from 3 river basins (Arkansas, Colorado and South Platte) and provides water for nearly half a million customers. Help us as we work to ensure that millions of acres of land are properly developed, managed and utilized in order to protect our critical water infrastructure and supply.

Working alongside our current Forest Management Program Administrator, you will have the unique opportunity for an in-depth, on-going, knowledge transfer of the intricacies of this job. We will work beside you to bridge relationships and strengthen knowledge and skills, to ensure that the programs we’ve invested in together with our community and strategic partners continues moving forward.

In collaboration, you will be a part of the strategy and oversight of Colorado Springs’ Utilities’ water interests across the state of Colorado. You will participate in key watershed protection programs through your work in policy development, strategic partnerships, wildfire mitigation, and forest restoration efforts, recreation, and access control, and service agreements. In partnership and collaboration with the Colorado State Forest Service, US Forest Service, government agencies, conservation organizations, foundations and community partners, you will protect our most valuable natural resource; our water supply.
