Position Description
The Education and Outreach Director will have a unique opportunity to plan, develop, implement and expand Evergreen Audubon’s year-round nature education programs and oversee the daily operation of the seasonal Evergreen Nature Center. In 2020, many of these programs had to be adapted to virtual platforms, which is anticipated for at least a portion of 2021. Opportunity and challenges go hand-in-hand, and the long-term growth of Evergreen Audubon will depend on the continued development of successful programs and nature center exhibits that attract community support, entice volunteers, engage diverse audiences and encourage donations.
