Certified Master Herbalist opening Evergreen Apothecary

I am a local Certified Master Herbalist opening an apothecary and clinic in Evergreen at 27640 Hwy 74 in an old cabin on the campus of the Church of the Transfiguration. Integrative Herbalism!

My goal is to support our community with herbal medicine in an integrative, holisitic, natural way-for the whole family from infancy up. The type of herbal medicine I practice is integrative to the core.

My studies included a Bachelor of Science in Integrative Therapeutic Practices from Metropolitan State College of Denver, 8 months intensive apprenticeship with local Herbalist specializing in reproductive family care. I then studied East/West Herbalism at Just for Health School followed by a year fellowship with the owner and acupuncturist. I am also a Placenta Encapsulation specialist and offer this service to mamas to support post-partum healing and wellness.

Health Consultations are much like visiting any practitioner, I assess your health history and utilize TCM tongue and pulse diagnosis to better understand your personal constitution and any disharmonies present. The first visit usually takes approx 1.5 hrs and creates a basis for all future formulations-I really get to know you.

The apothecary has bulk herbs available, traditional Chinese, Ayurvedic and Western herbal tinctures.

I create custom formulations for all health and healing, wellness and cleansing as well as organic products for the skin, lotions, salves and butters. One of my favorite premade formulas supports liver function and blood sugar levels affected by alcohol consumption-ideal for Holiday parties.

Medicinal teas are an important component of what I do. Currently I offer several blends to support cleansing, viral conditions, coughs and colds, sleep and calming support and delicious vitalizing teas. I also make elderberry syrup, osha honey, a gentle blend for infants that require no consultation.

Herbal Remedies are both paleo and natural and Organic in my practice.
