Nearly half of U.S. children are under-vaccinated because of delays or refusals by their parents, according to a massive Kaiser study, showing widening immunization gaps even in families with primary doctors and coordinated health care.

The study of more than 320,000 children up to age 2 in seven states also showed a steady increase in the percentage of families delaying or refusing vaccines between 2004 and 2008.

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. That is an alarming number SC.

Found this link while researching the possible reasons someone would not vaccinate and was a little shocked at the reasons.

Perhaps we should have a young mothers sit down with a couple of generations back and let them tell them some stories.
I understand the fears that some vaccinations are linked to autism but is there really any concrete link to that?
