Meals on Wheels
Seniors’ Resource Center, Evergreen is home to the Meals on Wheels program for homebound adults over the age of 60, in the Evergreen and Conifer communities. A hot nutritious meal is delivered by a volunteer Monday through Friday. In addition, this program also offers the option of a 5-Day box, which contains frozen and nonperishable foods or a monthly Market Basket, which consists of 10 complete frozen meals, fresh fruit, vegetables, dairy, eggs and bread.
This is a wonderful free program, sponsored by the Volunteers of America, to assist in meeting the nutritional needs of older adults.
