Mt. Evans to host traumatic death workshop May 29

Mt. Evans Home Health and Hospice will present a free workshop, “Coping with the Unthinkable: Losing a Loved One to Traumatic Death,” on Wednesday, May 29, 6:00-8:00 p.m., at the Mt. Evans offices (3081 Bergen Peak Dr., Evergreen).

The workshop will be presented by Darryl Mehring, Ph.D., a senior instructor at the University of Colorado who has taught classes on death and dying for 15 years. Dr. Mehring will speak about traumatic death (sudden death from suicide, heart attack, accident, etc.) Topics will include the grief process, forgiveness and resolution.
