Caregiver Survival Skills is a free educational series presented by the Mountain Caregivers Resource Group. May’s topic, “Healthy Living for Your Brain and Body: Tips from the Latest Research” will be presented by a representative of the Alzheimer’s Association of Colorado.

For centuries, we’ve known that the health of the brain and the health of the body are connected. But now, science is able to provide insights into how to optimize our physical and cognitive health as we age. Join us to learn about research in the areas of diet and nutrition, exercise, cognitive activity and social engagement, and use hands-on tools to help you incorporate these recommendations into a plan for healthy aging.

The free seminar will be held from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, May 16, at the Evergreen Fire & Rescue Administration Building, 1802 Bergen Parkway, Evergreen.

Reservations are recommended. For more information or to RSVP, call 303-674-6400.
