Paragon Martial Arts is the premier Denver organization dedicated to the martial arts discipline of taekwondo.

Our focus is to provide students the highest quality martial arts instruction available in a safe and positive learning environment that people of all ages can enjoy. Our instructors combine excellent student instructor ratios with state of the art training facilities. Each instructor is a graduate of an instructor program that represents more than thirty years of research and development.

Tiny Tigers Program

The Tiny Tiger program was developed specifically for preschool age children ages 4 through 6. This program offers children a strong foundation in essential character qualities such as courtesy, respect, and discipline.

In addition, the program is designed to improve children's motor skills and enhance their ability to pay attention and follow directions. All classes are taught using the most safe, fun, and exciting instruction methods available for this age group. This program works in conjunction with the Karate for Kids program, thereby emphasizing the same important monthly themes and value system.

Karate for Kids

We have developed a program based on traditional Taekwondo for kids called Karate for Kids. The Karate for Kids system is based on a lifetime learning concept.

In addition to technical skills, students are exposed to a variety of self defense skills, weapons training and phsical skills that help kids stay focused in school and be more confident as a whole. The building blocks for our system are monthly themes such as:

Goals, Friendship, Perseverance, Self-Control, Confidence, Self-Improvement, Courtesy, Self Awareness, Respect, Integrity, Self-Esteem, Dedication

Paragon Family Martial Arts provides martial arts classes with a fun and positive atmosphere for adults, teens and kids age 4 and up in both Conifer and Bailey. Our students develop self confidence, respect, focus, discipline and fitness. Parents are always encouraged to stay and watch, and many families enjoy training together.

As an independently owned and operated martial arts school of the American Taekwondo Association, our students have the opportunity to participate in State, National and World competitions as well as the ATA's Certified Instructor Program. Its easy. How do I start the after-school program at Deer Creek Elementary School?

Note: During summer months we meet at Platte Canyon Community Church.

Paragon Family Martial Arts is doing a special fundraiser for the PTA groups at West Jeff Elementary, Elk Creek Elementary, Marshdale Elementary and Parmalee Elementary schools. If new students bring in our flyer from their newsletter or Friday folder 100% of the money they pay for their first month of classes goes to their PTA. We've already raised $100 and are hoping to raise a bunch more!

Our community outreach is strong at Paragon Martial Arts as we go into the fall.

We have partnered with Pilsung Youth Initiative http://www.pilsung.org/ to offer free child safety martial arts classes to the community on Saturday, Sept 8th from 1-3pm for age 6 and up. Parents are welcome to attend.

We are once again partnering with Fort Logan Elementary school to provide martial arts classes to all 270 kids who attend. Fort Logan staff is very excited to have us back for a third year. We have seen great improvement with the children's focus, discipline and self control through Taekwondo. The highlight of this year will be having the kids attend their first tournament in Februrary.

We will continue to partner with Pilsung Youth Initiative http://www.pilsung.org/ to provide scholarships to the mountain area community for qualifying students and students who are on the Free and Reduced lunch program at the local schools in Jefferson and Park County. We are able to provide classes at two mountain area locations, the first in Bailey at Deer Creek Elementary School cafeteria and the second in Aspen Park at our main location at 26367 Conifer Road, next to the Wing Wagon, On the Move Fitness and Hair Etc.

This summer we were proud to see one of our scholarship kids receive 3rd place in the American Taekwondo Association's World Champion top ten sparring division. We estimate we have 15 mountain area students currently attending on scholarship and anticipate another 10-15 for the upcoming school year. We are happy to be able to participate in their ongoing growth and development both in martial arts and as community leaders.

I did not get to see as much Olympics as I would have liked. However, I did get to meet a former Olympic Medalist a couple of weeks ago at an American Taekwondo Association training event. It was very inspirational. Got a lot of good stuff to take back to the students.

This year we have partnered with the PTA's at Parmalee and West Jeff Elementary to raise money!

We are happy to announce that so far we have 36 students attending the Parmalee Martial Arts fundraiser program and have raised $1700 for Parmalee PTA! Additionally so far at West Jeff we have 10 kids participating and have raised $600 for WJE PTA.

Its wonderful to have the opportunity to participate in community events and help the students, schools and PTA's!
