Social Media: What It Can Do For Your Business, March 14th

04 Mar 2012 14:22 #1 by ScienceChic

Businesses and non-profits are exponentially increasing their use of social media as a tool for advertising. As with any tool, it has its pros and cons and often the biggest hurdle is just getting started and comfortable with it; after that, how to use it effectively and finding the time to keep up with it. With Facebook about to roll out its new Timeline look to everyone (supposedly happening at the end of this month now), this is a great opportunity to learn about the new changes.

If you own a business or operate a non-profit and are interested in learning more, getting started, or using what you already have more effectively, this is the presentation for you! I'll be spending an hour and a half going over the points below, taking questions, and doing my best to help you. It goes from 11:30am-1pm-ish at the Conifer Community Church, the cost is $15 and it includes lunch (which has been delicious for the last two Lunch & Learn presentations that I've attended). So far, 25 people have signed up, and RSVP's are requested preferably by next Friday, March 9th, but definitely no later than Monday the 12th for the food orders. Call Dawn Smith at 303-838-5711, or email her at . to reserve your space.

This is a new Social Media Service available through Communities Bound. If you'd like either a more in-depth consultation in order to learn more so you can do it yourself, or are interested in having someone set-up and manage your social media presence, please call 720-248-8285.

Thank you and hope to see you at the presentation!

"Now, more than ever, the illusions of division threaten our very existence. We all know the truth: more connects us than separates us. But in times of crisis the wise build bridges, while the foolish build barriers. We must find a way to look after one another as if we were one single tribe.” -King T'Challa, Black Panther

Just a reminder: today is the last day to RSVP for this seminar. There are already 30 people signed up - it's going to be a lot of good information, don't miss it! :sunshine:
