Women's Networking Group, 1st & 3rd Thursdays Now

WOW - Wonderful Opportunities for Women Networking group is meeting tomorrow morning at South Evergreen Cafe (Hwy 73 at N. Turkey Creek roundabout, in front of Morse Evergreen Autobody).

Our topic will be "Your best networking place and why" and we'll throw in "How do you best approach a new person at a networking event".

As always, we'll introduce ourselves and please be prepared to give us any business updates, specials you are running or announce any upcoming seminars/classes you will be conducting.

Gosh, it will be another jam packed morning for us! Where else can you spend an hour or so and accomplish so much? I look forward to seeing you there.

I'm so sorry, I thought I had posted a reminder in here after the last meeting.

Our meeting is tomorrow morning and will be in the upstairs conference room in the log building next to Cruz In, where D'Accounts and Golden Wellness has offices. It's a breakfast potluck and fun white elephant gift exchange (don't let that keep you from coming!). The topic for discussion is

What will you do different in 2013 for your business?

It's always fun to meet and toss around ideas with these ladies, I'm hoping I'll feel we'll enough to attend. Please go yourself if you can!

Hello Everyone!

It is here - your official reminder that Wonderful Opportunities for Women will be meeting this Thursday at 8 AM for networking.

TAKE NOTE - New locaation: DW's Diner in Conifer. Since we now have 1st Tuesday in Evergreen, we are going to try 3rd Thursday in Conifer.

Our speaker will be Karen Miller so our intros will be SHORT to allow her time to talk about her jewelry business. We'll try to end up around 9:30 and hope it is not too noisy in there by then!

Just a head's up: At the Evergreen meeting we decided to have our Dec 19th meeting at Jo Ann's office in Conifer. Address is 26267 Conifer Rd, #205. Tall building next to Big O Tire. Park in front or in back. I volunteered to bring breakfast. I have a new breakfast casserole recipe to try out so hope you don't mind being my guinea pigs! I'll bring some fruit and pastry too. Coffee, tea is there. We also discussed that we would like to do a white elephant fun gift exchange. So no introductions that morning but we do have a speaker: Kathy Mastroianni. After we hear from Kathy we'll do our gift exchange. Let's keep the items value to under $10 so we won't break anyone's budget this time of year. Just bring something crazy, fun, hand made or lightly used.

Judy Williams will be doing her profile so expect to learn lovely things about her flower shop!

We are contemplating a $2.00 fee at each meeting to build the coffers to pay for an ad for the group or perhaps to buy booth space in an event if we find one that meets our needs. This would equate to $48 per year, payable per quarter, twice a year or just one check. Come prepared to share your thoughts. And bring at least $2.00.

Just to remind you - we are meeting this week.

Please bring your name tag, business cards and any announcements, flyers, etc.
Also, grab a new lady business owner and bring her along.
Come prepared to tell us what is new in your business world but remember to keep it brief.

Our featured profile this week will be Pat Frederiksen and hopefully she'll be teaching us how to be Smarter Women!

Please arrive before 8 AM to order your breakfast. We like to start introductions by 8:05. That way every body gets 2 minutes for their introduction. With 10 introductions that is 20 minutes! We like to have our profile on stage by 8:45 to allow them their 15 minutes or so to talk. I am counting on your help to keep us on schedule!

Do remember if you love the group enough to become a charter member dues will be $48 for the year which began on 1-1-14. I guess we need to talk about prorating dues for anyone who has not attended prior. If you have not already become a charter member than there will be a $2.00 meeting fee for the day.
