Luna's November Events, Tonight is Om Happy Hour!

Can you believe it's November already???? Luna's has some amazing upcoming events this month that you will not want to miss out on!

First Off: This SATURDAY, NOVEMBER 3rd is Luna's Om Saturday !!! There will be 3 fun things going on for you to start off your lovely fall/winter celebration! Christina will be doing mini-astology readings from your natal charts for $20 each; if you are interested, please bring the obvious - date, time and place of birth! Faith Anne will be there from 11-3 doing Intuitive Drawings for $1/min. and Waltraud will be doing chair massages for $1/min.; as always we will be sampling our very own local Taspen's Organic Tea and Granola Bars so I hope to see you there!

Next is Luna's Om Happy Hour on Wednesday, Nov. 14th, 5-7:30 ~ always the event to come and unwind while getting informed and inspired! This month we have Rune Readings by Bill, Massages with Tracy AND a Young Living Oil Demonstration with Lisa (great opportunity to smell and sample a huge selection of one of the best made oils out there)! As always we will have Wine and goodies from our very own local Bee Sweet Bakery! SOMETHING YOU WILL NOT WANT TO MISS IS THE LUNA'S CREATIONS ETSY TRUNK SALE!!! With the holidays just around the corner (can you believe stuff for Christmas is already being stocked????), Luna's will be having it's Black Saturday Event on Saturday, Nov. 24th from 10-5 ; yep, this is the Saturday BEFORE Thanksgiving. This is the best time to shop for the holidays and get the best deals!!! Luna's will be having hourly specials and drawings as well as hot cocoa and goodies to munch on for shopping sustenance! This year Luna's is carrying Leanin' Tree Christmas cards, ornaments and holiday décor, which will all be out on Black Saturday!

LOTS of new items at Luna's ~ Can't list everything, but Luna's is carrying a fun variety of Sanita Clogs (just got a new shipment in); Large Ceramic Animal Carvings (the flying owl is AMAZING), new organic cotton sock colors and a new selection of colors and sizes of Threads for Thought T-Shirts (made with Organic cotton and recycled water bottles)!

Last month's special did sell ~ we both thank you as all that money will go to this charity…let's try to make it the first time at Luna's that we have 3 months of monthly special money going to a charity! A correction to my previous post, as I said that Black Saturday was the
weekend BEFORE Thanksgiving, but listed the 24th....OOOPS! Black Saturday
is THIS Saturday, the 17th from 10-5 with hourly specials, drawings and
spiced as well as regular apple cider!

Also coming up this month is Conifer Christmas Marketplace at Aspen Park ~
yep, the Saturday AFTER Thanksgiving there will be amazing events in
Conifer, so mark your calendars and come and play!

Entries for the Mt. Lugo Luge Sledding Competition at Myers Ranch are now
being accepted (HURRY!) If you are not adventurous enough to enter, come
and Cheer on Luna's Loonies (my team for the day!)

The Mt. Lugo Luge snow tubing competition gets its name from Conifer's
historic ski area, Mount Lugo, located on Legault Mountain in present day
Meyer Ranch Open Space. Individuals & teams will race down the sledding hill
with points given for fastest time, best costume and best aerial dismount! A
makeup date is scheduled for Saturday January 19th, 2013 if temperatures do
not drop below 28 degrees for snow making.
~ PARKING: Shuttle parking is available at Conifer Marketplace & the Aspen
Park RTD lot. Please do not park at the park.
~ ENTRY FEE:
~ $10 Children 6 & under (must be accompanied by an adult)
~ $15 Individuals
~ $40 Teams of four

Kick off the holiday season with the sights, sounds and flavors of Christmas
at the Conifer Christmas Markets. Enjoy holiday shopping featuring local
artisans, holiday sales, gift wrapping, kids' activities, vending and more!

~ 2:00p Santa's Milk & Cookies Eating Competition
~ Qualifying Rounds at Aspen Park Village Shopping Center. Come watch
the spectacle as contestants compete to eat the most cookies to be crowned
Conifer's Cookie Eating Champion!
~ ENTRY FEE: $10 includes Santa hat
~ 5:00p Illuminate Conifer! at Conifer Marketplace
~ Enjoy a dazzling Christmas light presentation as Conifer turns on
the light and illuminates the corridor! Local businesses and residents
are encouraged to join in the festivities by adding white lights to
their homes and storefronts

Luna's will have hot cocoa (Taspen's Yummy Organic, both leaded and
un-leaded) as well as samples from Missy Mae I Have Another....again, there
will be hourly specials so be sure and swing by to find that perfect gift!

For those Pet Lovers: Mia will be doing Pet Aura Photography downstairs at
Healthy Pet on Satuday the 17th from 11-3 for $20 each....stop by if you can
after Black Saturday to see what your pets Aura looks like!
