Evergreen Lake Loop Trail Improvement Project RFP

Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) invites qualified companies to submit their proposals for the Evergreen Lake Loop Improvement Project. This request for proposal includes construction for a portion of the Evergreen Lake Loop Trail as indicated on Drawing C1, dated December 13, 2013 (refer to complete RFP for further details). The trail is to be constructed within the existing slope that abuts Highway 74 and is to be a pre-stressed concrete bridge including piles, pile cap and precast wall panels. Handrail, as indicated in the design, must be fabricated and installed under this contract along the complete length of this section of the trail. Existing sections of handrail must be removed to complete the project. The scope of work shall include all construction necessary to construct the trail. The contractor will be responsible for preparing and performing Traffic Control Plans and permits required by CDOT to perform the work. The successful Respondent will be awarded a Construction Contract likely on June 30, 2014. The intention is for the project to be complete by August 31, 2014.

All Contractors shall also submit questions via email to Greg Toler. All questions will be answered in writing and sent to all Contractors. No questions can be submitted within 48 hours of the Proposal deadline. Three (3) signed hard copies of the complete proposal shall be provided to the Evergreen Park & Recreation District Administrative Office by 12:00 noon on Friday, June 6, 2014.
