I need a built in bookcase built. Not your usual bookcase it also has to act as a door.

A finish carpenter huh? What a Norwegian or Swede just won't do?
Sorry, I couldn't resist. I'll just go quietly now.

Heartless beat me to it but my angle was gonna be something too do with EEO laws and discrimination...

So Grady, do tell - a bookcase that's also a door? Building a panic room or just wanting to conceal a bank vault door in your den?

Here's a video of a DIY project:

I can explain it to you but I can't understand it for you.

Call Dave at ACC Advanced Carpentry Concepts.

303-319-9172

He does really nice custom cabinetry and trim work. Local. Nice guy.
He doesn't advertise as far as I know. Gets all his work by word of mouth.

Otis, the word is it hides a time travel machine. I've got first dibs to go back in time to slap some sense into some posters here that shall remain nameless.

Grady,
I talked to Dave. I wanted to make sure he does stuff like that and he does! He has done a few of them, and he loves doing the specialty work like that. So make sure you call him!
