What is Integrative Reflexology and what does a reflexologist do?
Understands your foots’ structure and the importance it plays in your alignment
Works with meridians as energy pathways that begin and end on your fingers and toes
Opens zone pathways for better circulation
Stimulates the proprioceptors on the bottom of your feet to increase stimulation of nerve endings and calm the whole body
Foot reflexology has its origins in ancient oriental massage.  Reflex points correspond to various organs and structures of the body.  Gentle circular massage strokes or direct pressure will break up crystal-like deposits around the reflex points,
promoting optimal organ function, relaxation, and well-being.

What to expect in a session?
A therapeutic foot soak.  The 5 minute foot soak may have essential oils, herbs, baking soda or even lemons!
Hydrating foot cream
Whole hand massage strokes to release tension and increase circulation
Specific point stimulation of reflex points
Foot and toe stretches
Hand reflexology
A general session takes 45-60 minutes
You only need to remove your shoes and socks and roll up your pant legs
Benefits you may experience from an Integrative Reflexology Session
A deeply relaxing and therapeutic response
Increases digestive response and constipation relief
Sinus drainage
Decreased bronchial and lung congestion
Uterine reflex stimulation may bring on overdue babies or late mensus.  Can also relieve some PMS symptoms
Reduced muscular tension in neck, shoulders, elbows, hips, sciatic area and spine
Reduced swelling in feet and lower limbs
Increased lymphatic, nerve, and blood circulation
Kidney stones have been reported to pass with the stimulation of the kidney reflexes
Many clients report they are as relaxed as if they had a full body massage. It is referred to as an internal body massage
