Women Face More Challenges in Planning for Retirement...

The math and retirement concepts are the same for men, women, and couples, but women face additional headwinds resulting from traditional gender roles. The typical female lives an average of three years longer than a male and makes less money. A study by Hewitt Associates discovered that women aren't saving enough for those extra three years of retirement. In fact, they aren't saving or investing anywhere near as much as their male coworkers. As a result, women are more likely than men to be in poverty after age 65.

Good on U. THIS is a critical issue and the OTHER factor is equal pay for the SAME JOB....males R consistently achieving HIGHER salaries than woman for the same job. TEACHING women to expect
a tough conversation about salary, showing them how to negotiate what they are worth and being
assertive when there is INEQUALITY that is proven.....skills that are mandatory to assist in the deficit.B)
