We are pleased to announce Celeste as one of the Assistant Store Managers.

Originally, from Myrtle Beach, SC, she brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our team. Celeste’s professional career started in the US Army where she served as a Medic. Celeste brings more than thirteen years of management expertise to our team.

A fun fact about Celeste is that she coaches Junior Olympic Teams for USAG (club level). During Celeste’s free time, she enjoys taking care of her animals which include five goats, twenty chickens, four dogs and a Conure. Celeste’s favorite animal that she owns are the Blue Cochins, “Blue Cochins originally came from China. The breed eventually came to England during Queen Victoria’s reign. I love the breed because of their story. They also remind me of my grandmother."

Celeste’s favorite thing about the employees that she serves is taking the time to learn every team member’s strength and weakness so she can get the best performance from her team. The key attributes that she brings from her career in gymnastics is that “one day you might kill it, and another day the skill is gone. You must drill, drill, drill—through determination and practice you will achieve higher skills. This insight has served me well in my career."

We are very excited about the positive impact she will make at Evergreen Ace Hardware & Paint!

Evergreen Ace Hardware & Paint is part of the Moore Lumber & Hardware family. We're bringing over Marc and Celeste (pictured) as assistant managers from the Moore Pine Junction store. We told you about Celeste previously. Now we'll introduce you to Marc, if you didn't already meet him and his fantastic chili at Big Chili.

He is originally from central Iowa and will bring a diverse set of skills and professional experiences to our team. Before joining Moore Lumber & Hardware, Marc enjoyed a successful career in information systems management where he performed in IT management roles for varied industries, including software development, retail, and public sector agencies assisting millions of under advantaged citizens across the US.

Away from the store, Marc is an avid Rockies and Avalanche fan, and enjoys alpine skiing and hiking.

Marc’s experience at Whole Foods Market managing the corporate IT team while assisting with store operations and opening stores will positively impact our entry into the Evergreen market.

And, yes, he is completely awesome!

We'll soon be opening with staff trained at our parent store, Moore Lumber & Hardware in Pine Junction, and our goal is to bring you the same level of service described below.

That evening is our First Annual Ladies' Night in Evergreen! Join us for wine from Aspen Peak Cellars, music from the 3eatles, and henna painting, not to mention 20% off almost everything in the store! What better way to kick off our opening day than this?!
