Why I built a Credit Education - Restoration website, is for the simple reason, I could not find any company out there that actually teaches the 42 laws in the Fair Credit Reporting Act and the other laws that govern Fair Debt Collections Act plus walk them hand in hand through the process of restoring your credit.

I noticed between the credit bureaus, banks and repair companies out there that their only goal they really have, is to set you up to fail again and you will pay more the next time. Statue of limitation for open accounts in Colorado is 3 years. If you still have any open credit lines that are in collections and showing up on your credit reports, you count from the first day you became late and count 3 years from that date. That is when it must be taken off your credit reports. It's a very simple process to have it removed from your reports. The violations are in the Fair Credit Reporting Act and can be referred to when sending the letter to have it removed from your reports.

Also just to let you know if you have any government liens such as taxes, the statute of limitations is 10 years and it must be removed and you no longer owe that bill. That must also be taken off your credit reports under the Public Records.
