Royal Yoga just got another request for a morning yoga class. If anyone else is interested please contact us. It will probably be a Thursday morning 9..ish or so and especially geared towards those who have never done yoga before. To exercise your inner self, take the time to step off the treadmill and concentrate on the here and now, says Michelle Bridges.

Try this for a moment: for the next five minutes, concentrate on your breathing, and nothing else. Take long, deep breaths, relax your body and don't let your mind wander. The only thing that there is in the world is you and your breathing.

In this calm state, you are stimulating your parasympathetic nervous system, which lowers your blood pressure and slows the pace of your breath.

New One Day Intensive Intro Class

Intro to Yoga/Meditation - This class will be about 3 hours of intro to Yoga and Meditation to the total novice of yoga, you will learn meditation and breathing techniques, stress relief and relaxation, yoga postures for flexibility and stretching. No previous experience necessary. I have several dates available: 5/21, 5/28, 6/4. Please let me know which date works best for you. . ; 303-838-3322
Cost: $30 per person, bring a friend and get $5 off.

If you are attending May 21, please send your check $30 to reserve your spot to Sophia Paul, 78 Royal Dr, Bailey, CO 80421 asap, no later than May 16th please. If you can't make it May 21st, let me know as I said 5/28 and 6/4 are also possibilities depending on how much interest there is. The May 21st class is starting to fill up, space is limited, please make your reservation asap.

Please wear lose fitting, comfortable clothes, bring a yoga mat if you have one, (but a large beach towel will work as well); a firm blanket (will help you with your seated position) and a strap will help you if you feel like you are very stiff (that can be anything from a regular yoga strap to a long belt, an old tie), bring a water bottle.

Yoga for Moms and Daughters

Looking for something meaningful, fun and empowering to do during the summer break? How about Yoga for Moms and Daughters?

In this workshop moms and daughters (age 8 and up) have a chance to connect on a deeper level through the practice of yoga, meditation, breathing, relaxation together. We will explore fun yoga poses in a flowing motion as well as simple meditation techniques to calm your mind.

No experience necessary; please bring two blankets (or a yoga mat and a blanket), a strap (that could be a long belt, old tie or a yoga strap) for each of you along with a water bottle.

This is a 1.5 hr workshop as an intro to yoga, if there is enough interest we could develop a regular weekly schedule based on your needs and availability.

Date/Time: Saturday, June 11, 2011, 9-10:30am
