Planning to Sell? What to Do Based on Your Timeline

If selling your home may be somewhere in your plans—even six months or a year from now—this is a good time to begin gathering information.

Preparing early doesn’t mean starting a long list of expensive projects. It means understanding your likely value, what buyers may notice, which updates could be worthwhile, and which ones you may be able to skip.

That is especially important for foothills properties. Online estimates don’t fully understand differences in condition, views, usable acreage, privacy, access, outbuildings, improvements, or mountain location.

I created a free Smart Seller Prep Guide organized around different seller timelines: 0–3 months, 3–6 months, 6–12 months, or simply being curious.

Complete the short Seller Readiness Survey to receive the guide:

There’s no obligation or pressure to list. The goal is simply to help you understand your options and find a clear next step.
