Conifer Public Library- Call for Craft Donations

20 Sep 2012 12:20 #1 by ConiferPublicLibrary
One thing I like to do at the end of every storytime is to do a fun craft with the kids. We use the theme of the storytime to create our crafts and allow the kids to think about literacy in a different medium. They get to relive the story, color a picture, make a finger puppet, etc.

The library budget unfortunately is getting tighter, so I'm asking for the community's help. If you have anything craft orientated lying around and not being used that you could afford to donate to the Conifer Public library we would certainly love to see what creative ideas we can come up with. I've used pipe cleaners, googly eyes, construction paper, markers, crayons, beads, paper bags, kleenex boxes, and felt before, but any craft supplies you would be willing to part with would be great.

Thanks so much
Brian
