Student must be 5 years old by Oct. 1st to enter Kindergarten for the 2013-2014 year.
To register you will need:
• A copy of your child’s certified birth certificate
• Current immunization records
• Proof of residency (drivers license, utility bill)
Kindergarten registration packets will be available on our website, elkcreek.us and in the office starting January 22nd. Registration packets will include information and directions for Jeffco Connect. Parents/Guardians must register all new Kindergarten students online through Jeffco Connect, a link can be found on our website elkcreek.us.
We plan on offering a PART TIME, all day Kindergarten in addition to a FULL TIME, all day, tuition based program. The FULL TIME Kindergarten program is open to the first 22 students that register, in the event that we were to exceed 22 registrations, during the registration window, it may be necessary to use the lottery process as mandated by Jefferson County Schools. A deposit is required at the time of registration to secure a space.
Families who wish to enroll their student in a school other than their neighborhood school must complete a Choice Enrollment Application; this is available on our website elkcreek.us, located under the REGISTRATION TAB. Applications for First Round Choice Enrollment are accepted January 9th – 24th, 2013, for the following school year. Students are accepted on a space available basis.
