Conifer Public Library- LEGO club-we need your help

I've been talking to students the past couple days about the upcoming LEGO club that starts June 6th. We have fliers available with the dates and times.

Folks, I think this is going to be a BIG deal. Kids are very excited about it. As of right now, I have 10 good sized bags of LEGOs. Each bag should help 1-2 kids create an exciting LEGO piece. So, right now we could probably work with 10-20 kids. Given the popularity of LEGOs, I think we may have more kids show up.

My plan is to offer a free creative environment OR to offer kids an idea/theme to build from. I plan to display their creations in the library and on our website.

If you have any old boxes of LEGOs sitting around that need love and playing with by creative minds we love to have any donations.

LEGOs are an important part of literacy and imagination. They encourage storytelling and reading- especially in boys.

If you can help, I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks
Brian
