Evergreen Park & Recreation District (EPRD) was formed in 1969 to serve the park and recreation needs of the communities of Evergreen, Bergen Park, Indian Hills, Kittredge and Marshdale. Thursday, May 22 • 6:00 - 7:00 PM at the Buchanan Park Recreation Center
Parents this is an exciting program that focuses on:
• Environmental Stewardship
• Participating in Fun Training & Racing Events
• Building Knowledge and Love of the Sport
• Improving Trail Riding Skills and Learning Trail Etiquette[/center:2mg5rpq5]
[center:2mg5rpq5]Beginner Junior Mountain Biking Program [/center:2mg5rpq5]
Join our biking group as they ride the trails of the local open space parks. The group meets every Thursday at the west entrance of Alderfer/Three Sisters Open Space Park at 5:30 PM and every Sunday at the parking lot at Buchanan Park Recreation Center at the Elk Meadow trail head at 10:00 AM. Participants will be divided into groups based on age and ability; parent volunteers are needed to lead these individual groups. Riders will need a bike and helmet for all rides. Each registered participant will receive a custom biking jersey at the end of class. For the complete schedule, please click on the Register Online link.
Wanted: Adult volunteers with skills in mountain biking willing to dedicate at least two hours per week to lead rides with kids ages 8-13. For more information contact Kendra Hinkson at 720-880-1226 or
