Holiday Open Houses and Book Sales at various Jeffco Public Library Locations this weekend:
You are warmly invited to join us for our lovely holiday open houses. Several Jeffco locations are readying the trimmings to help us welcome you for a bit of holiday cheer. Please see below for times and locations. We look forward to seeing you and getting into the spirit of the season.
ARVADA
5:30 - 7:30 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 1
In conjunction with Old Town Arvada's Lagniapppe celebration, the library invites you to attend our holiday open house! Enjoy the season among friends with music from Celtic guitarist Jerry Barlow, light refreshments, crafts, and pictures with Santa.
Conifer
2:45 - 5 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 16
Join the Conifer library for holiday cookies, crafts, music and games.
Evergreen
5 - 8 p.m. Friday, Dec. 11
10 a.m. - 5 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 12
12 - 5 p.m. Sunday, Dec. 13
Evergreen Holiday Open House and Book Sale
Join us for holiday festivities as we say “thank you” to our community. You’ll enjoy live music from the Evergreen High School Choir Friday night, light refreshments, activities for kids and adults, and a “gently used” book sale. Randi Levin, the Muffin Lady, is available after to sign her cookbooks and offer tips on baking for gifts.
Join us for cookies and hot cider, balloon sculptor and music, live harp music performed by Maria Obryan as well as nearby entertainment (Golden Visitor’s Center down the street) and fireworks (presented by City of Golden). The Candlelight Walk/Holiday Open House is a wonderful tradition. And do a little shopping too! Our Holiday Used Book Sale presented by the Friends of Jefferson County Public Library will be open:
'Tis the season for music, crafts, and cookies! We're hosting an Open House with Celtic fingerstyle guitarist Jerry Barlow. Join us for cookies, cider and kids crafts.
Wheat Ridge
12 - 4 p.m. Sunday Dec. 6
Get that ho ho ho spirit with our kids craft party. Kids are invited to create a craft for holiday gift giving and to have their faces painted from 1:00 until 3:00 p.m.
