Jeffco University Application
We want you at Jeffco U! Thank you for your interest in attending Jeffco University. This free "citizens academy" experience involves six in-person sessions at various Jeffco Public Schools locations. The meetings occur on the following dates:
Wednesday, October 18 - Education Center, 1829 Denver West Pkwy #27, 5th floor Boardroom
Education Today - The Purpose of Public Education and a Flyover View of Jeffco Public Schools. District Organization will be explained.

The What, Why, & How of Teaching - Standards, learners and student task, plus educator quality
Wednesday, December 13 -
Jeffco Logistics - School Operations, Finance, and Technology reviews
Wednesday, January 17 -
Supporting Students - Student Services, Legal Systems, and Risk Management
Wednesday, February 21 -
Community Connections - Educating students, involving families, education policy, and advocacy
Wednesday, March 1-
Graduation Ceremony at Board Meeting

5:30 pm - light dinner
6:00 - 8:30 pm - session
Please fill out the application below. A couple of items to note:
* We anticipate being able to accept all applicants. However, in the event that demand exceeds our capacity, we will have a lottery system to fill spaces in a fair manner. Parents/Guardians of Jeffco students will be given preference for acceptance.
* Applications are due by midnight, Monday, October 16. You will be notified by end of day on Tuesday, October 17. Class begins on Wednesday, October 18.
