We've just about made it to the last month of 2018! If you'd like to be entered for a chance to win an Amazon Fire7 tablet this December please fill out our technology use survey on our website at jeffcolibrary.org.

Meanwhile, here's what's coming up at Conifer in December (including cookies and glass etching!):

Every Saturday in December- Family Time, 10:45 am - Everyone is invited for stories, singing, rhyming and dancing.

12/1 – Make Something: Glass Etching, 1:00 pm - Find a new outlet for your creativity and make something at the library! Each session features a different craft and all materials provided. Limit 20.

Today's project: Glass Etching

12/4 - The Art House, 6:00 pm - Paint the town any color you'd like with Evergreen artist Chris McAllister. He'll help you discover how to better use the visual vocabulary of shape, value, color, line, texture and edges. Explore these concepts in still life, landscape, portrait and figure paintings. Not an artist? No worries. All skill levels are welcome to learn. Bring in a project you're already working on or join a group project. Work in oil or acrylic paints, just bring your own painting supplies. Our ongoing classes are designed for continuous learning in an open, individualized environment. New students are welcome any time.

12/5- Conifer Meditation Group, 6:30 pm - Guide your mind to a place of peace, happiness, and bliss. The Conifer/Bailey/Evergreen area meditation group is open to anyone interested in meditating regularly in a group setting. No previous meditation experience is required. We don't focus on a particular meditation format, but instead sample a variety of methods as different group members lead a 20-30 minute group meditation at each gathering. Please bring a cushion, mat or pillow if you don't care to sit on a chair. Anyone present can start the session and awaken the group at the end.
Held on the first and third Wednesday of the month.

12/9 - LEGO® Play & Build: Contest Build Day, 1:00 pm - Build at home with your own bricks or create using the library's LEGO® collection at any participating library during December 1stthrough January 5th.
