CSOC Scholarship Available through JeffCo Sheriff’s Office
$1,000 scholarship to be awarded this spring
Jefferson County, CO. – Jefferson County Sheriff Jeff Shrader announced today that County Sheriffs of Colorado, Inc. (CSOC), the state sheriffs association, will award a $500 scholarship to a deserving Jefferson County student this spring. The sheriff’s office will also match the $500 from CSOC, bringing the scholarship amount to $1,000. Applications are available online at

or at any Jefferson County Sheriff’s Office location:
• North Precinct, 200 Jefferson County Parkway, Golden
• South Precinct, 11139 Bradford Road, Littleton
• Mountain Precinct, 4990 County Highway 73, Evergreen
Any legal permanent resident of Jefferson County enrolled in, or applying to, a vocational training program or college in the State of Colorado is eligible to apply. There are no restrictions for the course of study or placed upon applications by race, creed, age, sex or national origin.
Applications are to be turned into one of the three JCSO precincts listed above by February 22, 2019. In addition to the completed application, a school transcript and two letters of personal reference are required. A local citizens committee will review the application packets and select a recipient based on leadership, merit, character, involvement, and career purpose.
