From Elk Creek Elementary School PTA Conifer/Pine Colorado:
Due to the extremely low temperatures predicted for this Wednesday, we have decided to shift Trunk or Treat back to Friday, November 1, from 6-8PM. In addition to the very low temperatures expected on Wednesday, it’s looking like we will get even more snow on Tuesday evening. By postponing until Friday, the hope is that the warmer temps and sunshine expected on Thursday and Friday will help melt off the parking lot and our event can run as it normally would (trunks outside, music/games/chili inside, etc). We thank you for your understanding and flexibility as we try to roll with the situation.
We do still need volunteers, if you’re available to help out. Everyone, PTA member or not, is welcome to sign up to volunteer, so don’t be shy!
