Resilience1220 Youth Poetry Contest Open Now until October 9th!

Calling all young poets! Resilience1220 is sponsoring a poetry contest - submit your poem by October 9 to be considered for publication and cash prizes. The theme is "Resilience" and we'll celebrate with an outdoor poetry reading in October. See our website for full details www.resilience1220.org

Poets ages 12-20 who live in the mountain communities (including Jefferson, Park, Gilpin and Clear Creek Counties) are invited to submit their original work on the theme "Resilience" for consideration.

Resilience1220 will convene a panel of judges and select the top 50 poems, which will be published. We will hold a poetry reading at Hearthfire Books in fall, and there are cash prizes for the top three entries!

Second place $175
Third place $100

No more than two entries per person, and poems should not exceed one page in length.
