2021 Bootstraps Scholarship Application Now Open!

The 2021 application for Bootstraps Scholarships and Interest-free Loans is now available to graduating high school seniors from Clear Creek, Conifer, Evergreen, and Platte Canyon High Schools. The deadline is January 31.

In 2020, individuals, businesses, and civic groups in the mountain area funded $244,000 in scholarships and loans.

Before you start the application, you need to complete the FAFSA. The FAFSA helps to determine if you have financial need.

There are TWO applications. One application is for students who plan to attend a four-year college or university. The other application is for students planning to attend a vocational or technical program. You will have to choose which application to complete.

You MUST have financial need to receive a Bootstraps award. You have financial need if the cost of attendance for the school you plan to attend exceeds your expected family contribution (EFC) as determined by the FAFSA.

SENIORS! The deadline to apply for our scholarships is January 31st. Take some time this weekend to finish your application and submit it for consideration. If you haven't yet completed your FAFSA form, please do that first as our scholarships are awarded by need. We look forward to reviewing your submissions!
