From our Friends of Colorado State Parks: "Win great prizes this May by showing us how you #GetYourBootsDirty on the inaugural Colorado Public Lands Day!"
How, you ask? From May 1-20, take a photo in any Colorado State Park that captures why and how you love your state park and submit it to the Friends of Colorado State Parks at This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.. (We hope to see many, many photos from Staunton State Park!)
"Show us your story, show us your joy, show us how you take a nice clean pair of boots and get them scuffed and dirty by having fun in a state park. Photos can be about connecting with friends, or a quiet morning sunrise with a cup of coffee, ascending a granite spire or paddling across a glassy lake. There are no limits (though let’s abide by park rules and keep it PG, people) to how you can #GetYourBootsDirty on #CoPublicLandsDay!"
