The pups approach Murray Lake at 12,110 feet. I caught 1 fish that was 14" long and shaped like a football. I could not get my hands around it.
Silver Dollar Lake from east shore.
Silver Dollar Lake (right) and Naylor Lake from trail up to Murray Lake.

Looking down the outlet of Silver Dollar Lake.
Hiking up past Naylor Lake.
Still working on the Black Hills pictures. :Whistle

They released about 1,500 of them that were hatched just that day. You get to interact with them for a few minutes before you let them go in the sand and watch as they make their way into the ocean. The surf was a bit rough so a lot of them were getting tossed back on land. They were very cute, but it is sad to think that only one out of 4,000 will reach maturity. I named mine Igor and Seymore. Marcy named hers Lunch and Dinner. There are so many pelicans and other sea birds around that they need to be released at dusk.
