THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR NORTHEAST AND NORTH CENTRAL
COLORADO.
.DAY ONE...TODAY AND TONIGHT
SCATTERED RAIN SHOWERS CAN BE EXPECTED THROUGH TONIGHT WITH A FEW
THUNDERSTORMS POSSIBLE THIS AFTERNOON AND EVENING. MOST OF THE
ACTIVITY WILL OCCUR OVER THE MOUNTAINS...FOOTHILLS AND ALONG THE
PALMER DIVIDE. WHILE MOST OF THE RAIN WILL BE LIGHT...A FEW SLOW
MOVING THUNDERSTORMS OVER THE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHERN FOOTHILLS COULD
PRODUCE LOCALLY HEAVY RAINFALL OF AN INCH IN LESS THAN AN HOUR.
THERE IS ALSO A THREAT OF FLOODING ALONG LODGEPOLE CREEK IN SEDGWICK
COUNTY INCLUDING THE TOWN OF OVID DUE TO HEAVY RAIN IN NEBRASKA LAST
EVENING.
.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...THURSDAY THROUGH TUESDAY
ON THURSDAY...IT WILL REMAIN MOSTLY CLOUDY AND RELATIVELY COOL. A
FEW LIGHT RAIN SHOWERS WILL OCCUR IN THE MORNING...WITH A CHANCE OF
SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS BY LATE AFTERNOON AND EVENING...MAINLY
NEAR THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS AND PALMER DIVIDE.
FRIDAY THROUGH MONDAY...THERE WILL BE A SLIGHT CHANCE OF LATE DAY
SHOWERS AND STORMS...WITH TEMPERATURES WARMING TO NEAR OR A BIT
ABOVE SEASONAL NORMALS.
