...RED FLAG WARNING IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM MST THIS EVENING FOR
WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY FOR THE URBAN CORRIDOR AND ADJACENT
PLAINS...

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DENVER HAS ISSUED A RED FLAG
WARNING FOR WIND AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITY...WHICH IS IN EFFECT
UNTIL 6 PM MST THIS EVENING.

* AFFECTED AREA...FIRE WEATHER ZONES 238...239...240 AND 243.

* TIMING...SOUTHWEST WINDS WILL INCREASE BY LATE THIS MORNING WITH
THE STRONGEST WINDS THIS AFTERNOON. THE WINDS WILL DECREASE THIS
EVENING.

* WINDS...SOUTHWEST 15 TO 25 MPH WITH GUSTS UP TO 35 MPH.

* RELATIVE HUMIDITY...AS LOW AS 10 PERCENT.

* IMPACTS...GUSTY WINDS AND LOW RELATIVE HUMIDITIES WILL PRODUCE
FAVORABLE CONDITIONS FOR RAPID FIRE GROWTH.

Well, I'm relieved the Red-Flag warning was over at 6PM last night.....

...because it was about 6:15 when I saw some idiot toss his still lit cigarette butt from the driver's window of his grey pick-up truck as he was headed NB on 285, just heading into the canyon. Too bad the plates were too dirty to read. We'll have to leave it to Karma for punishment.

What a Knucking-Fucklehead!
