"Eagle Cliff Fire" at Eagle Cliff Road & 285 Area

Elk Creek is responding to a fire caused by lightning in the North Turkey Creek & 285 Area.

I will be monitoring for additional info.

Fire reported as 1/4 acre size in heavy downed tree area- on a steep hillside.

Fire now named "Eagle Cliff Fire".

Elk Creek Now Requesting air support.

Coordinates n39 33' 04", w105 17' 04".
Altitude ~8600 Feet

Elk Creek Fire is reporting fire as "dying down a bit".

Per Elk Creek Fire: reporting 100 percent containment line around fire.

Fire dudes are still on scene at the Eagle Cliff Fire- the Fire is contained. Some fire fighters will remain on scene till midnight but most will be pulled out at nightfall. Rain is expected after midnight.

Elk creek did an awsome job here- they were on this one like white on rice.

I will leave one scanner locked on the Elk Creek Frequency for a while longer before I cut it loose.
