WEST CENTRAL DENVER COUNTY IN NORTHEAST COLORADO
INCLUDING WESTERN DENVER.
* UNTIL 1000 AM MDT
* AT 831 AM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
HEAVY RAIN FROM A STORM OVER WESTERN DENVER. THIS STORM WAS NEARLY
STATIONARY.
DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT AROUND AN INCH OF RAIN HAS FALLEN FROM
THIS STORM IN THE LAST HOUR.
STREET FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED IN THE WESTERN PART OF DENVER. THE
HEAVIEST RAIN HAS BEEN IN AREAS WEST AND SOUTHWEST OF DOWNTOWN.
PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...
EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...STREETS AND UNDERPASSES
AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
