**Urgent Weather Update**

As of 12:00 pm today multiple funnel coulds and tornados have been sighted moving accross South Park.

There are multiple tornado cell moving accross South Park at this time into the Lake George area. It is moving in a north easterly direction at approximatly 10 mph.

If you sight a tornado please take immediate shelter in a basement or a bathtub.

There are multiple emergency services in the area to assess any damage and to assist anyone in need.

park county is issuing a second tornado warning for all of park county. there is a second tornado just sighted in the lake george area moving eastbound at 10 miles per hour. if you are in this area seek shelter immediately we will send additional message when we have an update

What about us poor folks who live about 1/8 mile from Park Cty? Oh and the sun is shining here too.

Hwy 24 is open, but be advised that there is 4" of hail.

Hwy 9 from Hartsel to Fairplay is open for traffic. 3-4" of hail in parts.

Preliminary reports of substantial damage to homes in area now coming in, additional resources requested.

Park Co Sheriff reports many downed power lines across roadways, IREA has been requested to cut power. IREA will be at least half an hour.

All calls for deputies to check homes one-by-one, assemble at Lake George Fire Station 1.
