Fire in Teller County, Evacs Ordered in Florissant

30 acre fire near Cripple Creek in Teller County. A mandatory evacuation order has been issued for the Highland Meadows subdivision near Florissant.

Cripple Creek High School is the evacuation location for parties evacuated from Highland Meadows. The Highland Meadows Subdivision is in the area of Teller 1 and Teller 11.

High Chateau is on pre-evacuation notice at this time.

As of 7:30pm, all Pre Evacuation and Evacuation notices have been lifted for the Western Hills Fire. All roads are now open.
