Can anyone confirm what side of 285 this is? I heard it was at the Lost Park turn but no info on the radio on what side of 285.

We love both lost park and Jefferson Lake and I am just trying to find more information.

Wind is still blowing good at our house hopefully things will calm overnight.

Sherrie Muldoon posted an update on our FB page (she originally posted the picture above on Facebook):

The fire is about 2 miles in on Lost Park Road. Mostly grass areas, not a lot of trees involved. Fire is laying down for the night. Lots of Forest Service and Fire personnel on scene. Can't guess at containment, but fire is around 400 acres. Just got home from the scene.

Snyder Creek runs parrallel to 285 mostly in the grasslands right before the hills start climbing, water winds up going into Tarryall, east side of 285. Fire season shouldn't start so soon but the winds were high today.
