CLEAR CREEK COUNTY – Mount Evans Road/State Highway 5 finally opened on Tuesday.
The road was closed for several months for a roadway stabilization project above Lincoln Lake.
Roadwork will continue Mondays through Fridays for the next two weeks near mile marker 6.5. One lane will remain open during the work and cars will alternating passing through in each direction.
