Major damage to home in fire 34000 block Forest Estates Road. Fire reported just before midnight. Homeowner and his dog escaped without injury

Major damage to second and third floors. Water trucked into scene as no hydrants in area


Firefighters from four area departments responded to blaze. Cause of fire 34000 block Forest Estates Rd remains undetermined at this time
No injuries but icy foreground remains a hazard to firefighters

Firefighters now in overhaul to check for extension of fire into the structure. Firefighters expected to remain on scene for several more hours in cleanup and overhaul. Fire was visible to responders from 1.5 miles away from scene as they approached blaze. Firefighters gained control quickly


Over 30 firefighters & 12 apparatus responded to fire on Forest Estates Rd Volunteers serving the community. @efr_co @ElkCreekFire @ICFPD and Indian Hills responded.
