.A MOIST PACIFIC JET WILL PRODUCE SNOW...HEAVY AT TIMES...OVER
THE NORTHERN MOUNTAINS OF COLORADO THROUGH THE WEEKEND. RABBIT
EARS PASS AND THE GORE RANGE WILL GET SNOW FIRST AND THEN THE
STORM WILL SPREAD TO THE MOUNTAINS OF ROCKY MOUNTAIN NATIONAL
PARK AND GRAND AND SUMMIT COUNTIES. INCREASING WINDS GUSTING TO
60 MPH MAY PRODUCE NEAR ZERO VISIBILITY IN BLOWING SNOW AS THE
STORM STRENGTHENS.

WATCH...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM SATURDAY MORNING THROUGH LATE
SATURDAY NIGHT.
* TIMING...AREAS OF LIGHT SNOW WILL DEVELOP TONIGHT...IT WILL THEN
INCREASE IN COVERAGE AND INTENSITY BY SATURDAY MORNING. MODERATE
TO HEAVY SNOW IS POSSIBLE DURING THE DAY SATURDAY...DECREASING
LATE SATURDAY NIGHT.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...8 TO 12 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE...HEAVIEST
ALONG THE HIGHER WEST FACING SLOPES.
* WIND/VISIBILITY...
STRONG WEST WINDS GUSTING BETWEEN 50 AND 60
MPH WILL DRASTICALLY REDUCE VISIBILITIES DUE TO BLOWING AND
DRIFTING SNOW. FREQUENT VISIBILITIES OF LESS THAN A QUARTER
MILE WILL BE POSSIBLE.
* IMPACTS...SNOW...POSSIBLY HEAVY AT TIMES...AND LOW VISIBILITY
IN BLOWING SNOW WILL SIGNIFICANTLY IMPACT TRAVEL...MAKING IT
HAZARDOUS FOR TRAVEL IN THE MOUNTAINS ESPECIALLY OVER PASSES.
