COLORADO TONIGHT...

A WEATHER DISTURBANCE CROSSING OVER COLORADO TONIGHT WILL PRODUCE
A ROUND OF MODERATE SNOWFALL IN THE MOUNTAINS FROM THIS AFTERNOON
THROUGH TUESDAY MORNING. AN ASSOCIATED COLD FRONT WILL ALSO MOVE
OVER NORTHEAST COLORADO...PRODUCING UPSLOPE WINDS ALONG THE FRONT
RANGE FOOTHILLS. THE TRACK OF THE PASSING WEATHER DISTURBANCE COMBINED
WITH THE UPSLOPE FLOW WILL PRODUCE THE HIGHEST SNOWFALL AMOUNTS
ALONG AND SOUTH OF THE I-70 CORRIDOR IN THE MOUNTAINS AND SOUTHERN
FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS. THE STORM WILL BE MOVING OUT OF THE REGION
BY LATE TUESDAY MORNING WITH SNOWFALL COMING TO AN END.

WEATHER ADVISORY FOR SNOW...WHICH IS IN EFFECT FROM 6 PM THIS
EVENING TO 11 AM MST TUESDAY.
* TIMING...
MOIST UPSLOPE WINDS OVER NORTHEAST COLORADO WILL
PRODUCE SNOWFALL IN THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS BEGINNING THIS
EVENING. THE FRONT RANGE FOOTHILLS WILL RECEIVE THE HEAVIEST
SNOW ACCUMULATIONS MONDAY NIGHT INTO TUESDAY MORNING. SNOW
SHOULD END BY LATE TUESDAY MORNING.

SNOW ACCUMULATIONS...6 TO 10 INCHES WITH THE HEAVIEST AMOUNTS
SOUTH OF THE I-70 CORRIDOR.
* WIND/VISIBILITY...NORTHERLY WINDS OF 10 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS TO
25 MPH WILL DECREASE VISIBILITIES TO LESS THAN A MILE AT TIMES.
* IMPACTS...TRAVELERS SHOULD BE PREPARED FOR HAZARDOUS WINTER
DRIVING CONDITIONS INCLUDING SLOW TRAVEL...SNOW PACKED ROADS
AND POOR VISIBILITY IN SPOTS.
